How To Make Some Bomb Authentic Poutine.

Serves: 3
Time to make: 1-2 Hours


  • 3 X-Large White Idaho Potatoes
  • 1.5 Cups White Sugar
  • 10 Cups Water
  • 3 TBSP Flour
  • 3 TBSP Salted Butter
  • 1/2 of Small Spanish Onion Finely Chopped
  • 1 TBSP Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 3 Cups Beef Stock
  • 1.5-2 Cups Cheddar Cheese Curds
  • Large Bottle of Vegetable Oil
  • 1 TSP Salt
  • 1 TBSP Fresh or Dried Parsley Flakes
  • 6 Pieces of Bacon (If wanted)
  • 1 TBSP Maple Syrop (If wanted)


  1. Combine Butter, Pepper, Onion and Flour in small saucepan over medium heat. Cook for approximately 15 minutes.
  2. In large pot combine sugar with 10 cups of water, bring to boil.
  3. Wash and then cut up potatoes into fry size pieces, leaving the skins on.
  4. Add frys to boiling sugar water, cook for approximately 15 minutes or until soft.
  5. For a little variation, you can cook some bacon until crisp. Break into small pieces and add maple syrop and leave to sit in a bowl.
  6. Add beef stock to butter and flour mixture and bring to boil. Continue boiling for approximately 10 minutes. Reduce heat on gravy and let sit over low heat to thicken up. Stirring occasionally. If required, add a little bit more flour to thicken up gravy, use only small amounts at a time.
  7. Add oil to deep pot and heat on high heat. Be careful!
  8. Remove frys from boiling water, and place on paper towels to dry out completely.
  9. Once oil is super hot, place frys in oil and cook until floating and golden brown.
  10. While frys are frying, break up cheese curds into small pieces.
  11. Add parsley flakes to gravy and stir in.
  12. Remove frys from oil and place on paper towel and shake some salt over them.


  1. Place layer of fries on plate
  2. Place thin layer of cheese curds on top of frys
  3. Ladle out some gravy over your cheese and frys
  4. Place a second layer of fries on plate
  5. Add more cheese curds, and optionally bacon pieces, then more gravy to top off the plate.
  6. Garnish with fresh pepper and salt.

Lets Put Some Bacon On That Ice Cream!

Yup, You read that right. We’re going to make the best desert you’ve never had. And, it”s really simple, so it”s great for lazy summer evenings on the deck or any other time of year really. Only four ingredients, and about 8 minutes to make it can”t beat that can ya.


  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Real Maple Syrup
  • 5 Strips of Maple Flavored Bacon
  • Optional Strawberries.


  1. Cook bacon until well done, and crispy.
  2. Set bacon aside on paper towel to drain all grease.
  3. Crush bacon up with your washed hands into small bite-size chunks
  4. Spoon 2 large dollups of ice-cream into the bowl you”ve chosen
  5. Liberally spread the bacon bits around the top of the ice cream
  6. Coat with as much maple syrup as you desire
  7. Eat and enjoy your food coma.

This is a great desert to make with kids, and anyone else as it’s quick to do and very very easy. Tastes awesome too. Unless you’re cooking for vegetarians, we don’t condone the use of tofu bacon.

Cheese Stuffed Burgers Perfect For Summer BBQ

These burgers are sure to be a hit at any backyard party. We’ve served them several times now and everyone loves them, often saying they are the best burgers they”ve ever tasted. They are a little on the spicy side, but that”s nothing some beer can’t fix in a jiffy.


  • 1 LB Lean Ground Beef
  • 1/2LB Maple Bacon Shredded
  • 1 Large Spanish Onion
  • 2 Gloves Garlic
  • 1 Packet Onion Soup Mix
  • 10 Premium Plus or Similar Crackers
  • 1 Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tsp. Tabasco Sauce (Optional)
  • 2 Tsp. Sriracha Sauce (Optional)
  • 1 Jalapeno Pepper (Optional)
  • 1 Tsp Powdered Cayenne Pepper (Optional)
  • 2 Tbsp BBQ Sauce
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 (or 3 if making smaller burgers) Baby Bell Cheese Rounds

Prep Time: 30 Minutes
Cook Time: At Least 4 Minutes Per Side


  1. First brown the bacon but do not overcook it. It should still be somewhat uncooked.
  2. Finely chop onion and garlic and the optional jalapeno pepper.
  3. Mash crackers to small sand-like consistency in zip-lock back.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef, half cooked shredded bacon, chopped onion, jalapeno pepper, garlic, packet of onion soup mix (saving half for the next time), mashed crackers, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, sariachi sauce, cayenne pepper, BBQ sauce and egg.
  5. Wash your hands!
  6. Combine the ingredients thoroughly using your hands in the mixing bowl.
  7. Once the beef is combined with all ingredients, make 4 or 6 thin equal patties.
  8. Lay down two of the patties on a plate and gently press the babybel cheese into the center.
  9. Lay the other two patties on top of the babybel patty.
  10. Gently seal the edges by running your fingers around and pressing them together.
  11. Optionally roll the patties on their edge around the plate so you get nice equal patties.
  12. Grill Patties to your taste.

Our Suggested Toppings: Mayonnaise, Relish, Mustard, Ketchup, Lettuce, Chopped Banana Peppers, Tomato Slices, Onion Slices, Cheese Slices.
