Office 2007 and the Live Office Popup window keeps popping up. Here’s how to remove it.

Have office? Want to get rid of that annoying “have you tried live office yet?” popup, that just doesn’t go away?

Create a new file on your desktop, called “officefix.txt”

Paste this into it;

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\OfficeLive]  
"FirstRunCredsDeleted"=dword:00000001  
"FirstRunDontShow"=dword:00000001

Then rename that file to officefix.reg

Double click it to add it to your registry.

Re-run word, powerpoint, or whatever.
